What it means for you
This is an account-level rule in the Partner Monetization Policies under 'Share authentic content'. A pattern of hooks that misrepresent what's in the video is the risk.
Meta's 2025 originality guidance also recommended captions with no links, minimal capital letters and no more than 5 hashtags.
✓ Do
- Write hooks that promise what the video actually delivers.
- Keep captions clean: few hashtags, normal capitalization.
✕ Don't
- 'You won't BELIEVE what happened next!!!' on an ordinary clip.
- Fake 'BREAKING' labels.
