The short version

You usually get one appeal per decision. Reviews typically take 7 days or less.

What it means for you

Desktop, for Pages and Groups: Meta Business Suite, then Monetization, then Policy issues. Pick the Page or Group and click 'Request another review'.

Mobile, for Pages and professional-mode profiles: tap the violation notification, find the 'Restricted monetization' alert in Policy issues, tap Request review, and submit.

Professional-mode profiles can't use Business Suite, so they appeal on mobile. A single piece of content can also be appealed with Meta's Monetization Policies Appeal form.

On Instagram, use Monetization status, which lets you request a review for one item or all of them.

✓ Do

  • Fix the problem and build a clean track record before appealing.
  • Write a short, factual explanation.

✕ Don't

  • Fire off an appeal the minute you're flagged. You may only get one.
